How to Replace the Panels

First of all, you need to order your replacement panels. Since they will be delivered directly to your home, you just need to worry about removing your old panels when they arrive. Surprisingly, most panels are only attached to their frame with just a couple of screws or bolts. When you unbolt the panel from the frame, it might fall right out. In some some garage brands have panels that are wedged in the frame, so you will still need to pop them out with a little bit of force. Regardless, it is very easy to remove your old panels.

Installing your new panels is basically just as easy, but it does require a little more care and patience. That is, you need to be careful not to ruin your new panels as you pop them into the frames. This is a two or three man job, depending on how big your garage is. This is only because you need to hold the long panels without letting them bend too much. Once the panel is popped into the frame, one person just needs to go on the inside of the garage and secure the bolts.
